Since being established during 1998 by our band founder / band leader / drummer, Robert Powell (b-July 11, 1960, d-January 31, 2012), and co-band founder / vocalist Stevon Wolf, Heart & Soul has been thrilling audiences with its top-notch blend of showmanship and hot dance material which ranges from Disco, Soul and Motown, to today’s current hits. Sadly, we lost our good friend, band leader, and drummer Bob Powell, January 31, 2012, to a terrible illness he had been battling for well over a year. Music meant the world to Bob, and we will always carry on his legacy with our Heart and Soul Band, by keeping the music alive! We miss you Bob, and will never, ever, forget you…, and neither will any of your loving family, friends, and many fans!

Heart & Soul features the seductive, silky tenor of Stevon Wolf who has amazed and captivated audiences nationally and internationally touring with the Drifters. Joining Stevon on lead vocals is Denise Pace,  whose commanding stage presence has been honed by years of theatrical experience both locally and nationally. The group also features the musician talents of Dave Kozma (bass and vocals), Dennis Bielinski (guitar and vocals) Gary Braden (keyboards, vocals, and music director), and Daryn Suttles (drums and percussion). Heart and Soul also performs all of our music live, with no phony “background tracks” or recordings, and this always adds to the feel, sound, and “soul” of our live performances!

Our Heart and Soul Band can be configured to meet any performance situation from 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 pieces, with the addition of a live sax player, or up to 4 live brass players, and will provide a full sound uncommon to many groups with more members. Our Sound System and Stage Lighting is state-of-the-art, the dancing is non-stop! At your request, we can also provide a DJ to play music between our live band sets, or we can also play Mp3′s for you during our breaks.
